 have always been quite a big fan of Bo Burnham. And yesterday I found out that he quit or is taking a break. I binge-watched a lot of his stuff and saw the bit where he talked about how if you are living you life out of the spotlight just leave it like this. I liked the idea when thinking about influencers and Entertainers, because it often seems like stupid People or People who do not have a Talent to look up to become famous. I don't think scientists and People with a political message should stay silent but those usually aren't the People on the Magazine covers or the ones with millions of Followers on social media plattforms. Because of that Realisation I decided to overthink my way of posting on social mdia. I want to use it Kind of like an open diary. Just like this blog will be an open diary. I wont post Pictures of myself. I will post Pictures of what I see around me. I want to look back on Things, on the memories I made going through life. I want to know about the ideas and Talents of the People I look up to and not see their face everytime I open my phone. I want my feed to be flooded with art, stories and Music or memories others made, not with Selfies and the Food they ate yesterday. I want to see People that are important to them and I want to know what they look for in life. I want to know what they see themself doing in 1 week, 1 month, 1 year or even 10 years. And if anyone ever reads this I urge you to think about changing the way you are approaching social media. share what you are keen on doing. Share what you are excited about. Share the painting you are proud of or the end of your paper that you had to do in University. Don't brag, share your excitement for it, share your excitement for life. Yes, I wanna see Pictures of beautiful places to get excited to maybe go there sometime. No I don't wanna see you Swimming through blue ass water or jumping from a Yacht. I wanna see how you see the world, not how you want the world to see you. I want to see your happy friends. I want to see your happy pet. I want to see your bags being packed. I want to be excited for you. And I want People to get excited about what I am about to do. I know ist tough and I know it all depends on liking someone or not. But I am sure if you get excited for someone they will like you and it's just a matter of time that they will get excited about what you are doing. Maybe ist just an excuse because I am ugly and I hate Selfies. Nonetheless, think about it.
